TAPERED ROLLER THRUST BEARING
The tapered roller thrust bearings manufactured by EOE are designed to support very high axial loads and even moderate shock loads. They are very stiff bearings and take up little axial space. These bearings are available in both single direction and double direction design.
Tapered roller thrust bearing is designed with a cage and roller assembly and two identical thrust plates. The rollers have a common vertex which enables true rolling motion within the thrust plates. The tapered roller thrust bearing design also allows for more rollers and therefore higher load-carrying capability. A full complement version is offered for many of the standard sizes by eliminating the cage. In this full complement bearing, the addition of more rollers gives a greater thrust capacity. The added rollers increase friction within the bearing, making them better equipped for lower speed applications.

Tapered Roller Thrust Bearing, Single Direction
Single direction tapered roller thrust bearings consist of one shaft washer, one housing washer and one cage with tapered rolling elements. They can absorb very high axial forces from one direction while radial loads must be avoided. Due to the high number of tapered rolling elements which move on the tapered raceways of the bearing washers, tapered roller thrust bearings are very rigid.

Full Complement Tapered Roller Thrust Bearing
Tapered roller thrust bearings are designed to carry high heavy thrust loads at low speed. These tapered roller thrust bearings are a full complement of tapered rollers, a convex or concave top plate, and a flat lower plate. Components are made from case hardened steel to meet the service demands of this application. Full Complement Tapered Roller Thrust Bearing Are used in Applications Overload Are Presen.

Tapered Roller Thrust Bearing, Double Direction
Double direction tapered roller thrust bearings can support high bidirectional axial loads and are able to compensate a small eccentricity between shaft and housing, without negatively affecting their performance. The first design features two tapered housing washers, a flat shaft washer, two rows of tapered rollers and two two-pieced machined brass cages guided on the shaft washer. The second configuration features an intermediate washer with external housing centering.
